Forest Minister Dr. Shejwar appeals on Holi 

Bhopal: Forest Minister Dr. Gaurishankar Shejwar has appealed to the people of the state to celebrate holi in a symbolic form by minimizing use of wood for ‘Holika Dahan’.

Dr. Shejwar said that the festival of Holi holds special significance in Indian culture. He urged people to refrain from cutting trees, as this was necessary for conservation and development of forests. He urged people to celebrate the festival in an atmosphere of peace and brotherhood.-WTN
