Muslim Musical Instrument Players Welcome Yatra Playing Shehnai
Bhopal: Atmosphere of devotion and enthusiasm was witnessed on the third day of ‘Namami Devi Narmade’ Seva Yatra in Dewas district. Minister of State for Forest Surya Prakash Meena, MLA Ashish Sharma and thousands of people took part in the yatra. Meena termed the yatra as Bhagirath Prayas (Herculean Task) of the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan towards conservation of river in Jan-Sanvad held at village Kotkhedi. Hindu –Muslim solidarity was witnessed when yatra reached village Dudwas of the district. Women and representatives of Muslim Community welcomed yatra showering flowers. Muslim musical instrument players gave reception to yatra playing shehnai. Guests also planted fruits and other saplings in the villages in the way of yatra.

MLA Ashish Sharma in a Jan-Sanvad held at village Melpipalya said that Narmada Seva Yatra is a unique yatra in the Indian history. Sharma mentioned that we all should take resolution to keep Narmad river clean and pure. He administered pledge to the masses to conserve Maa Narmada.
