Administrative committees will be formed in urban bodies: CM Shri Chouhan

Ministers allotted divisions for Corona control 
 
Bhopal 21 April 2020: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the ministers have been given the charge of divisions of the state to deal with Corona effectively. Dr. Narottam Mishra has been given the charge of Bhopal and Ujjain divisions, Tulsi Silavat Indore and Sagar divisions, Kamal Patel in Jabalpur and Narmadapuram divisions, Govind Singh Rajput in Chambal and Gwalior divisions, Sushri Meena Singh in Rewa and Shahdol divisions. Chouhan said that departments will also be allocated to ministers soon.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that by keeping constant coordination with the Commissioner, I.G., Collector, SP, Health Department and other staff in all the given divisions, these ministers will ensure best arrangements against Corona. Chouhan said that the ministers will take active support of public representatives, social organizations etc. and will also take the feedback of the public.

The Chief Minister has said that in view of the ongoing Corona crisis, we have formed a small Cabinet but it is balanced. An attempt has been made to give representation to every section of the society. The Cabinet will be expanded after the lockdown ends.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that a detailed review of the situation and arrangements of Corona was done in the Cabinet meeting today. Ministers have been made aware of the decisions taken by the government from March 24 to April 21. Chouhan said that an effective strategy is being worked out by the government to deal with the Corona crisis.

Administrative Committees in Urban Bodies

Chief Minister Chouhan said that we have recently extended the tenure of members and presidents of district and Janpad Panchayats. He said that today it has been decided that administrative committees will be set up in urban bodies. These committees will also presently monitor Corona related works. These will include the Mayor, Municipal Chairman, Nagar Panchayat President etc.

Deendayal Committees formed

The Chief Minister said that in this hour of Corona crisis, cooperation of public representatives, MLAs and MPs will be taken to ensure ration supply to every needy person. He said that Deendayal Committees will be formed. These committees will do the work of monitoring the delivery of essential services to the public.

Tributes to Corona warrior Late Shri Yashwant Pal

Chief Minister Chouhan said that while fighting Corona, our braveheart dedicated police officer Corona warrior Yashwant Pal has passed away. He laid down his life while on duty. He worked with full dedication in this hour of Corona crisis. The Chief Minister said that we tried our best to save him but we could not succeed. It is very unfortunate. Shri Chouhan said that I pay him floral tributes and pray to God to grant his family and friends the strength to bear this sorrow. The Chief Minister said that on behalf of the government, his family will be given a Samman Nidhi of Rs. 50 lakh, SI’s job to his elder daughter Falguni Pal, special pension to the family, which includes the payment of full salary till his retirement date and Karamvir Medal to late Yashwant Pal posthumously. Chouhan said that Pals wife is my sister. The entire state stands with his family. Window to News
