CM Instructs at Road Development Corporation Board of Directors’ Meeting

Speed up Road Construction Works
Bhopal: The 33rd meeting of the Board of Directors of the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation was held at the Mantralaya here today presided over by the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The Chief Minister issued instructions at the board meeting to speed up the road construction works and said that special attention must be paid to the quality of construction.
Issues that were discussed at the meeting included making toll collection process totally electronic, widening of Dewas bypass, developing road construction from Ghar-Varasivni-Tumsar to Maharashtra border, fixing supervision charge for Corporation’s projects, increase in Corporation staff and implementation of road safety fund rule.
Among those present at the meeting were Public Works Minister Rampal Singh, Chief Secretary B.P. Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance A.P. Shrivastava, Additional Chief Secretary, Forest Deepak Khandekar, Principal Secretary Urban Development Malay Shrivastava, Principal Secretary Public Works Pramod Agarwal, Independent Director Prasanna Kumar Das, Secretary Mining Manohar Dubey and Managing Director of Road Development Corporation Manish Rastogi.-WTN
