CM CHOUHAN UNDERTAKES REVIEW
Bhopal 10 May 2020: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the number of Corona infected areas has reduced from 896 to 613 in the state. Betul, Sheopur and Alirajpur districts have become infection-free. No Corona case has been reported for last 21 days in these districts, he added.
Chouhan undertook a review of the situation arising out of Corona pandemic and the arrangements to deal with, through a VC at Mantralaya today. CS Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Vivek Johari and ACS Health Mohammad Suleman attended the meeting.
Now 1723 Active Cases
ACS Health Suleman informed that the number of Corona active cases has now reduced to 1723, which is 48 percent of total positive cases. On May 10 today 196 patients returned to their homes after recovery. As many as 157 Corona positive cases were reported today.
Intensive Survey of Infected Areas
During the review of Khandwa and Dewas districts, the Chief Minister directed for an intensive survey of the infected areas there. Strict adherence to lockdown should be ensured and no crowding be allowed anywhere.
Physical Distancing Necessary
The Chief Minister directed to pay special attention to physical distancing in all the districts. The Crisis Management Groups should hold regular meetings. Cooperation of public representatives and people from all sections of society should be enlisted, he said.
628 Migrant Workers to Come from Jammu
ACS ICP Kesari informed that so far 1.90 lakh migrant workers have returned to the state. Seven to ten trains are coming daily to the state. As many as 628 migrant workers stranded in Jammu-Kashmir are being brought back by buses.
Now Call Centre to have 250 Seats
Principal Secretary Sanjay Dube informed that the number of seats has been increased to 250 at the Call Centre set up for permission to come and go. The phone number of this centre is 0755-2411180. So far, 10 thousand 691 passes have been issued.
Arrangements to Send Back Labourers to Other States
The Chief Minister directed the officers to maintain proper coordination with their counterparts of other states to send back the lebourers stranded in Madhya Pradesh. There should be no inconvenience to them, he said. Window to News
