Minister Shukl in Laxmanbagh Gou-Shala Sanvardhan Board’s Meeting at Rewa
Bhopal: Minister for Commerce, Industries and Employment and Mineral Resources Rajendra Shukl said that a large Gou-Abhyaran will be made in Goushala situated in Basaman Mama. This will be an important step towards the conservation of cow progeny. Shukl was presiding the meeting of Gou-Sanvardhan Baord at Laxmanbagh Gou-Shala of Rewa today.
Shukl said that day is not far when people will talk about Basaman Gou-Abhyaran like other Gou-Abhyarans of the country. He said that machines will be installed here to manufacture products from cow dung and cow urine. Sale of products will become a medium of earning. Praising Gayatri family which is managing the Basaman Goushala presently, Shukl said that the Gayatri family will render praiseworthy work in the abhyaran too. Construction of abhyaran will be reviewed every month. The construction work of abhyaran will be started immediately after completing formalities.
Deliberation on land allotment for Gou-Abhyaran took place in the meeting. It was decided that about 37 acre land will be transferred from Revenue Department to Animal Husbandry department. The Abhyaran will be constructed at a cost of Rs. One crore 60 lakh. The construction work will be carried out with people’s participation. Also discussion on various arrangements to run Abhyaran held in the meeting.
Members of the Committee said that people should be urged not to abandon their cattle to tackle the problem of aira tradition. People must understand the importance of products made from cow dung and urine and work for cow conservation. Moreover, people must understand the importance of cow to make the country self-reliant. People have to link themselves with Gou-Seva spiritually. In addition, society would have to link itself with administration to make Gou-Abhyaran in Basaman Mama.
President Nagar Palik Nigam Satish Soni, President Janpad K.P. Tripathi, President Krishi Upaj Mandi Samiti Lallu Kushwaha, President Laxmanbagh Gou-Shala Samiti Rajesh Pandey and other members were present in the meeting.-WTN
