Symposium on World Water Day

Bhopal: The State Bio-diversity Board is going to organise a symposium on the concept of composite governance and implementation strategy on the subject of 'Jal-Van-Narmada-Bhopal' on the occasion of World Water Day at Academy of Administration on March 22. Managing director, State Forests Development Corporation, Ravi Shrivastava and Member Secretary, Bio-diversity Board, R Shriniwas Murti, will be the panellists in the session being organised under the chairmanship of Principal Chief Forest Conservator Jitendra Agrawal. Additional Chief Forest Conservator Dr Pankaj Shrivastava will the key speaker.

Chief Engineer Public Health Engineering Department GS Damor, Chief Engineer Water Resources Department Rajiv Kumar, Collector Bhopal Nishant Warwade and Bhopal Municipal Corporation Commissioner Smt Chhavi Bharadwaj will participate in the concluding session being presided over by Additional Principal Chief Forest Conservator Y Satyam. Additional Principal Chief Forest Conservator Chitaranjan Tyagi will be the key speaker in the session.

Chief secretary to conclude 'Jal-Van-Narmada-Bhopal' campaign

The campaign being launched by the State Biodiversity Board on March 19 will be concluded by Chief Secretary BP Singh. The concept of composite governance, implementation of strategy and conclusion of workshop on the topic of 'Jal-Van-Narmada-Bhopal' will be presented in the programme being held under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary (Forests) Deepak Khandekar from 2.30 p.m. at the Academy of Administration. Principal Chief Forest Conservator Dr Animesh Shukla will co-chairman of the programme.-WTN
