CM Chouhan Deliberates with Commercial Representatives of various Countries in Mumbai
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan held discussion in detail related to investment in Madhya Pradesh with Consul General of Russian Federation Andrei Zhiltsov, Consul General of Singapore Ajit Singh, Consul General of Israel David Akov. Acting Consul General of Japan Y. Kawata, Consul General of Turkey Erdal Sabri Ergen, Deputy Consul General of Germany Smt. Gabriel Boner, Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner John Madew and First Secretary of UK trade and Investment Haden Spicer. Chouhan said that meeting and discussions were positive. Good result will be obtained in the form of big opportunity towards development and employment in the days ahead.
Chouhan told all the representative for considering expansion of their country’s business in Madhya Pradesh where electricity and water is available in abundance. Necessary labour force for industries beside favourable atmosphere is available in the state.
Praising efforts of Madhya Pradesh, David Akov of Israel said that they can become a partner of Madhya Pradesh in mainly four sectors i.e. agriculture, water techniques, education and defense. He also praised the efforts of Madhya Pradesh made for agriculture and education sectors. CM Chouhan said that Israel has progressed a lot in the field of agriculture and we will be able to learn new from it. He gave consent for joint partnership in the field of education and defense.
Smt. Gabriele Boner of Germany said that she wishes to work jointly in the field of construction , infrastructure and skill development. Keeping in view the old relations with Madhya Pradesh, Germany will like to work in partnership. CM Chouhan said that investment made by the Germany earlier are proved successful. We wish that Germany should invest in Automobile sector in Auto Park of Pithampur near Indore. He expressed happiness on the progress of Indo-German Tool Room of Indore.
Andrei Zhiltsov of Russia mentioned that he is excited to gather more information about Madhya Pradesh. CM Chouhan assured that entire information on various aspects of Madhya Pradesh will be sent to him. Efforts will be made to take cooperation of Russia in tourism sector.
Erdal Sabri Ergen of Turkey expressed interest in the field of agriculture, construction, furniture and tourism sectors. CM Chouhan informed him that Turkey can be linked with proposed Metro, Road Highways and with house construction schemes.
Representatives of Australia and Japan showed interest in education, bio-technology and house construction fields. CM Chouhan informed them that Madhya Pradesh is in constant cooperation with Jetro of Japan since earlier and future schemes are also being made.
Ajit Singh of Singapore said that his personal experience with Madhya Pradesh is good. He will like to develop the joint work in the future too.
CM Chouhan expressed gratitude towards all at the end of the discussions. He suggested that representatives of all the countries should exchange views and scopes among themselves. A delegation of Madhya Pradesh will be sent if required. Representatives of the countries who wish to come to Madhya Pradesh are welcome in the state.
CM Chouhan apprised representatives of the countries about “Namami Devi Narmade’ Seva Yatra. He said that Narmada river covers 1100 k.m. distance in the state. The state government is committed for conservation of Narmada river. With this aim Narmada seva yatra has been started from December 11, 2016. Not only environment is being saved by undertaking plantation on both the banks of river but also sewage water is being prevented to release in the river. He invited all the representatives to participate in yatra till May 11.
