Governor Kohli Confers Honorary D.Sc. Degree to Parshuram

Bhopal: Governor Om Prakash Kohli conferred Honorary D.Sc. degree of Jawaharlal Nehru Agriculture University-Jabalpur to the Former Chief Secretary and State Election Commissioner R. Parshuram at Raj Bhavan today. Kohli also honoured Parshuram presenting shawl and Shreephal. Parshuram was conferred with this degree for his remarkable works in the field of agriculture development. Smt. Leena Parshuram was also present on the occasion.

Vice Chancellor Vijay Singh Tomar informed that Parshuram has carried out several works towards development of infrastructure facilities of Rajmata Vijayaraje Agriculture University besides Jabalpur Agriculture University. He further mentioned that the degree was conferred to six renowned personalities including Former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Dr. M.S. Swaminathan, Dr. Khus, Dr. Vasal and Dr. Qiming earlier.

Principal Secretary to Governor Dr. M. Mohanrao, Secretary State Election Commission Smt. Sunita Tripathi and other officers were present on the occasion.-WTN
