New Works Worth Rs. 20 Crore of Rewa District Mineral Foundation Committee Approved

Bhopal: Minister for Commerce-Industries and Mineral Resources Rajendra Shukl presided a meeting of District Mineral Foundation Committee at Rewa today. New construction works costing about Rs. 20 crore were approved in the meeting. Progress of earlier sanctioned works was also reviewed in the meeting.

Minister Shukl said that attention must be paid towards quality in the construction works being undertaken by the committee. Transparency and righteousness must be followed in the works of DMF. Irregularities will not be tolerated in DMF works. Shukl asserted that construction work being carried out in district hospital from mineral foundation fund should be completed within time limit. He mentioned to get the construction works inspected by public representatives and get it dedicated by them also.

Shukl issued directives to send proposals immediately to the state government for construction of girls hostel for Bhathia Model School and Aswari, Koaisrai, Chanpa Model Schools. Chairman Baiga Development Authority Ramlal Baiga, MLA Smt. Pramila Singh, Collector and Departmental Officers were present in the meeting.-WTN
