CM Chouhan Accords Welcome, Dalai Lama to Bless Narmada Seva Yatra
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan accorded warm welcome to Boddh Dharmguru Dalai Lama on reaching state today. Prominent Citizens and Senior Administrative Officers were present at the state hangar to welcome Dalai Lama.
Dalai Lama will participate and bless Narmada Seva Yatra at Dewas on March 19.
He will also deliver lecture on practical methods to remain happy, ethics and enrichment of internal spirituality and peace in Assembly auditorium. It may be mentioned that Dalai Lama has visited the state at the special invitation of the Chief Minister Chouhan. Terming the yatra as praise worthy initiative of the state government, Dalai lama has supported the Narmada Seva Yatra being set out to conserve Narmada river.
Chief Secretary B.P. Singh, DGP Rishi Kumar Shukla, Divisional Commissioner Bhopal Ajatshatru, Collector Bhopal Nishant Varvade and Eminent Citizens also accorded welcome to Dalai Lama on the occasion.-WTN
