Farmers not to suffer loss due to wheat drenching
CM Chouhan reviews Corona situation, arrangements and procurment activity
Bhopal 5 June 2020: The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan informed number of Corona cases is constantly on the decline in the state. Two hundred 34 new cases of Corona have been found in the state, at the same time 241 people have been discharged from hospitals after recovery. State has now 2734 active cases and the recovery rate of the state has become 65.3 percent.
Chouhan further stated that wheat has drenched in some procurement centers due to rains. Drenched wheat will be dried and stored. Farmers will not suffer any loss. Wheat of all registered farmers who have not been able to sell it t due to rains yet will be purchased. Farmers need not worry, he added.
The Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the situation of Corona, other arrangements and procurement activity through video conferencing at Mantralaya today. The Minister for Health Dr. Narottam Mishra, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Vivek Johri, AdditionalChief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman and Principal Secretary Sanjay Shukla were present on the occasion.
Make oxygen arrangement in Covid hospitals
During the review of Dindori district, Chouhan directed that oxygen arrangement should be kept ready in Covid hospitals. Health screening of each migrant labourer should be done mandatorily.
