Industry Minister Shukla at Rewa Ayurveda College annual function

Ayurveda System of Medicine Invaluable Heritage

Bhopal: Commerce and Industries, Employment and Mineral Resources Minister Rajendra Shukla said that Ayurveda College is imparting education that connects generations to our culture. He said that it is our invaluable heritage and it is our responsibility to conserve the heritage. Shukla was addressing the gathering at ‘Ayurotsav’ annual function of Rewa Ayurveda College on Saturday.

Shukla said that efforts to maintain this Indian system of medicine should be continued, as it would prove to be very important in keeping people free of diseases. He said that few people in the country have done commendable work in bringing about a revolution in the system of medicine. Now people are turning to Ayurveda system of medicine instead of allopathy or any other systems.

Minister Shukla lauded the work being undertaken in the Panchkarma department of the college. Shukla said that the college has undergone a lot of development earlier and the shortcomings will also be removed. The Industry Minister said that the students of Ayurveda would be provided with basic infrastructural facilities. State Government would also consider encouraging Ayurveda system of medicine at its level.
The Industry Minister also released ‘Snehan evam Svedan Chikitsa’-a book on Panchkarma. Principal Dr. Deepak Kulshreshtra presented the progress report.-WTN
