World Forestry Day – March 21

Chief Minister’s Message through 1000 Posters 

Bhopal: Panna Forest Range is launching a campaign from March 19 to 21 on World Forestry Day. During the campaign, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s message will be publicized through a thousand posters in various spots in the district. The message states that according to Indian tradition of science even trees, plants have sensitivities. A widespread campaign is going on for environmental protection all over the world. The banks of the Narmada river are being developed through tree plantation under the ‘Namami Devi Narmade’ campaign for environment protection. In his message, Chouhan has appealed people to be aware towards forest and wildlife conservation.

Forest Minister Dr. Gaurishankar Shejwar said in his message that we would be able to hand over a prosperous future to the coming generation only through conservation and development of forests thus proving ‘hamara sandesh-hara bhara Madhya Pradesh’ true.-WTN
