Bhopal: On World Forestry Day, Minister for Forest Dr. Gourishankar Shejwar said that Forest department has also started working now to bring improvement in health and education of forest dwellers through Deendayal Vananchal Seva. Success has been achieved to make youths aware towards conservation of forest and animals through ‘Anubhuti’ programme. We definitely will be able to handover the cheerful future to the next generation proving ‘Hamara Sandesh Hara- Bhara Madhya Pradesh’ in real sense in the coming years, he added.
It may be mentioned that over 8 crore saplings have been planted during rainy seasons in the state under the Hariyali Mahotsav this year. Good results have been obtained under forestation schemes in the state. The state government besides developing forest is implementing several conservation schemes. Dr. Shejwar appealed to the people of the state to take resolution in order to develop and protect forest on World Forestry Day.-WTN
