Bhopal 20 June 2020: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan (Sambal Yojana) is a boon for the poor. Around one crore 37 unorganized workers are registered under the scheme in the state. Assistance of Rs. 137 crore 41 lakh has been provided to a total of 24,507 beneficiaries since March one. Today, ex-gratia assistance amounting to Rs. 14 crore 13 lakh is being provided to the families of 664 beneficiaries.

Chief Minister Chouhan today transferred the amount through a single click to the beneficiaries of Sambal Yojana. Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Rajesh Rajaura, Principal Secretary Faiz Ahmed Kidwai were present on the occasion.
Various benefits of the scheme
During the discussion with the beneficiaries of Sambal Yojana, Chief Minister Chouhan said that under Sambal Yojana, ex gratia, assistance for last rites, maternity assistance, rebate in electricity bills, payment of fees for higher education, marriage of daughters, etc. are provided to the poor.
Mama will pay higher education fees
During the discussion with the beneficiaries, Chief Minister Chouhan said that children should be provided with the best of higher education. Their Mama Shivraj will pay their fees. Deepak Meena and Deepak Vishwakarma of Ujjain and Sushri Ayushi of Indore thanked the Chief Minister for paying their college fees.
I will make my daughter a collector
In a discussion with the Chief Minister, the beneficiaries of maternity assistance told that they have received the maternity assistance of Rs 16 thousand each. Pinky Manohar of Indore told the Chief Minister that she would make her daughter a collector. Ayushi Malviya said that she will appear for PSC exam. The Chief Minister extended best wishes to both.
