CM Chouhan Promises One Day Chairman of M.P.C.R.P Commission Shreyansh

Government to Bear Full Expenses for Progeria Disease

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that expenses towards treatment of serious disease like Progeria will be borne by the state government. He hoped that solution to this serious illness will be found one day. Chouhan met 13 year old Shreyansh Vaghmare here today who was made Chairman of M.P. Child Rights Protection Commission for a day. He promised him that constructive action will be taken related to children’s health, education and other rights. Terming the life of Shreyansh as inspirational, CM Chouhan honoured him on the occasion.
Shreyansh, a resident of Jabalpur suffering from Progeria disease who was made Chairman of Commission for a day reviewed the activities of the commission and appealed to the State Government to make arrangement for free medical treatment of this disease. Directing the Chairman Child Commission Dr. Raghvendra, Shreyansh said that district level programmes should be organized to provide this kind of platform to the handicapped children. He also inaugurated the website www.cpcr.mp.gov.in of the Commission.
Lokayukta Maheshwari, Member of the Commission Nirmala Barela, Director UNICEF Madhya Pradesh Micheal Juma, Director Health Department Smt. Kiran Shejwar, Ramakant Tiwari and Smt. Sheela Dahima of Education Department were present on the occasion.-WTN
