Deliberations will be made with PM to Conduct Campaign in Country Like Narmada Seva Yatra-Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev

Bhopal: Spiritual Guru Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev said that is greed has made human beings so rigid hearted that they are ready to destroy the life sources ?. He mentioned that are human beings become so inhuman that they are not worried about the future of children. He further mentioned that every life is linked to each other. Narmada shall always flow, therefore the Narmada Seva Yatra set out by the Chief Minster Shivraj Singh Chouhan is the best alternative. Plantation on the banks of Narmada river is must to make the river flow incessant. He stated that people of Madhya Pradesh are fortunate to have Chief Minister whose heart pounds. Blessing Narmada Seva Yatra, he mentioned that yatra will achieve success remarkably. He stated that deliberations will be made with the Prime Minister and Union Ministry for Environment to conduct such campaign all over the country. He presented Kailash Teerth Pavitra Jal Patra to the CM Chouhan on the occasion.

Spiritual Guru Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev further mentioned that sacred Narmada river gives happiness. Narmada is a mother of civilization. Time has come now when we have to think that what we are doing for our rivers. Body is consisting of three fourth water. Water is not a commodity, it creates life. We take care when water flows in the body and we pollute it when it flows in rivers. Sadguru stated that the Indian civilization flourished between Narmada and Godavari rivers. Now rivers are becoming smaller and shrinking. This means that we are not worried about our future. He said that campaign like Narmada Seva yatra has never been conducted so far. It reflects that we are doing something good for the nation. Sadguru asserted that we can make our nation great developing rivers of the country.

Furthermore, Sadguru said that we will have to save rivers which save us. Plantation has become necessary on the banks of River Narmada for its dignified flow. Policy should be framed for this. He mentioned that talks are being held with the Union Government to save rivers. Sadguru said that rivers were used flow incessantly when there were forest in India. Rivers current flow is decreased due to indiscriminate felling of trees. It is also necessary to protect the soils beside rivers’ banks, otherwise the soil will convert into sand turning it into a desert. He said that awareness campaign will be conducted from Kanyakumari to Uttarakhand in this direction. Recollecting about the Kaveri River, he mentioned that upto 60 percent water is decreased in the river and the it has become a cause of dispute.

Sadguru said that India has obtained several scientific achievements but despite several constraints, the farmers are making food grain available to the people.

Unfortunately, he is being forced by circumstances to end his life. He said that fertility of soil has to be maintained. If soil is protected, the farmer is safe. He said that if this goes on in the next 25 years, nothing will be able to grow. It is important to nurture soil so that it can be fertile.

Sant Kamal Kishore Nagar of Ujjain urged the people to make efforts wholeheartedly to save the river. He appealed to the people to link themselves with Narmada Seva Yatra. He told the people to take resolution to protect rivers, girls and cows.

In his address the Chief Minister said that without Narmada, life cannot go on. He said that to make Narmada incessant, the entire society will have to come forward. An amazing public movement has come; lakhs of people will plant crores of trees to save the flow of water. Fruit-bearing trees will be planted in the farmers’ lands. People will plant sapling on July 2 simultaneously. Treatment plants will be installed in all cities so that dirty water of the cities does not get merged into the Narmada. He administered the oath to not to immerse pujan material and idols in the water, to use toilets instead of defecating in the open. He said visarjan kund and Muktidham will be built along the banks of the Narmada. Deaddiction campaign will be launched in the entire state. Liquor shops along the banks of the Narmada will be closed down. He said that without daughters, the world cannot exist. Those who hurt a girl or damage her self-esteem should be hanged and the state government is forming a law in this connection which will be forwarded to the Centre. Union Minister for Rural Development Narendra Singh Tomar said that he is elated to have joined the Yatra at Ma Narmada’s feet. He said that when humans failed to fulfil their responsibilities, nature has lost its balance. Today the rivers are facing crisis. Due to human behaviour, the Yamuna and Ganga is full of pollution. Shivraj has made out the Narmada crisis already and therefore he took out this awareness rally. He said that this is a spiritual progamme and the biggest environment campaign. He said that the Chief Minister has used his power in public welfare and environmental protection.

Terming Chouhan as a saint like’ Chief Minister former Union Minister Shahnawaz Hussain said he has played many roles. He was happy to have got the opportunity to be a part of the Narmada Seva Yatra. Narmadaji gives water to all. It does not ask anyone about his religion or caste. He said that Shivraj is a gentleman and complacent person. He is a saint of politics. Shivraj Ji and Narmada Ji were similar in nature. Both work for the people.

The Chief Minister took part in the Narmada Yatra from Bandrabhan to Shahganj holding the flag and Smt. Sadhana Singh held the Narmada kalash. Women in thousands took part in the yatra with kalash. People of Shahganj decorated the city on the arrival of the Narmada Yatra.-WTN
