CM Shri Chouhan gifts developmental works worth Rs. 155 crore to Sanver Assembly Constituency

Bhopal 28 August 2020: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan laid the foundation stone of development works costing Rs. 155 crore in Sanver Assembly Constituency in a programme held in Indore. These include development works of roads, electricity, water etc. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the pace of development will not be allowed to slow down in Sanver constituency of Indore. This process of development will continue uninterrupted. Bhoomi Pujan will be performed for Narmada Water Scheme costing Rs. 2400 crore in September. This scheme will enable supply of water for drinking, irrigation and industry in every village of Sanver assembly constituency.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the supply of Narmada water will add a new chapter of prosperity of Indore’s Sanver assembly constituency. He said that this government has been formed for development and public welfare. This government is a government of the people and the farmers. There will be no shortage of funds for development in Sanver assembly constituency. He said that the recovery of electricity bills has been deferred from next month. From next month onwards, the electricity bill for only one month will be issued. He said that the state government is also sensitive towards the interests of farmers. Crops of all farmers will be insured by August 31. At present, farmers whose crops have been damaged will be fully compensated. Chouhan said that Scheme-165 has been exempted from Indore Development Authority. Chouhan said that Tulsiram Silavat has made a sacrifice for development. Looking at this sacrifice, all-round development will be done in his constituency.

Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silavat said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, development and progress has been accelerated. Now no stone will be left unturned in the development of Sanver. The stream of development will reach the last person of the society. Development has been paced up in Sanver. He said that bhoomi pujan of the ambitious Rs. 2400 crore plan will be performed next month to bring Narmada water to Sanver. This is possible only under the leadership of Chief Minister Chouhan. Sawan Sonkar gave the welcome address at the outset. A large number of citizens were present at the programme.

Development works worth Rs 155 crore, for which the foundations were laid today in Sanver assembly constituency include tank construction for water supply, feeder line and distribution line costing more than Rs 85 crore, road construction and storm water line work costing around Rs 60 crore, beautification and restoration of ponds at four places costing around Rs 60 crore and center lighting high masts, electric poles and LEDs in various wards costing around Rs 1.75 crore.

Tourism Minister Sushri Usha Thakur, MP Shankar Lalwani, MLAs Ramesh Mendola, Akash Vijayvargiya, Malini Gaur, Mahendra Hardia, former MLA Sudarshan Gupta and other public representatives including Manoj Patel, Rajesh Sonkar, Gaurav Randive, Madhu Verma and Sushri Kavita Patidar were present at the programme – Window to News
