CM Chouhan reviews situation of corona and arrangements
Bhopal 02 September 2020: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the best arrangements for corona treatment has been made by the government in each district through dedicated Covid hospitals in the state. Along with this, some private hospitals have also been contracted for corona treatment, where free treatment facility is being provided to all. Owing to the good treatment arrangement, patients in large number are being discharged after recovery in the state. Our recovery rate is 76.4 percent. Many corona infected and suspected people with arrangement at home give priority to ‘Home Isolation’ and ‘Home Quarantine’. In this regard, ‘Command Control Room’ should be set up in each district, from where constant care and monitoring of people under ‘Home Isolation and ‘Home Quarantine’ could be done. Ambulance should also be kept compulsorily at command control rooms. Information about patients’ health should be sought at least twice a day, he added.
The state is moving forward slowly in the direction of lifting total lockdown. In such a situation, it is must that our machinery should gear up in advance to face its challenges. We have to give momentum to our economy and have to make the people’s life normal and happy. If all the precautions to prevent corona infection like wearing of masks and maintaining two yards distance etc. are followed then we can also prevent infection and totally normalize people’s life too.
Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the situation of corona and arrangements through video conferencing at Mantralaya today. Minister for Home Dr. Narottam Mishra, Minister for Medical Education Vishwas Sarang, Chief Secretary qbal Singh Bains, DGP Vivek Johri, Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman and other officials were present at the video conference.
Protocol should be ensured in private hospitals
Chief Minister Chouhan instructed that along with the government hospitals, hundred percent protocols, set for corona treatment should be observed in private hospitals to enable people to receive treatment in government or private hospital as per their convenience. With this, it should to be ensured that private hospitals do not charge arbitrary fees from the patients. Moreover, it should also be ensured that private hospitals should have all necessary resources and medical facilities for corona treatment.
Collectors are required to maintain coordination
Chief Minister Chouhan instructed all Collectors to maintain coordination with the private hospitals in their respective areas and seek information as regard to resources and medical facilities, available with them for corona treatment. Necessary training should also be imparted to the private hospitals. The medical staff and resources of the private hospitals should be utilized fully.
State now at 17th place
It was informed in the meeting that the state is at 17th place in the country in terms of corona active cases. At present, the number of active cases in the state is 14 thousand 337.
Districts, which should take special precautions
During the district wise review, Chief Minister Chouhan instructed to take special precautions in the districts like Indore, Bhopal, Ujjain, Gwalior, Guna, Shivpuri, Ratlam, Jhabua and Alirajpur, where the infection is comparatively high.
Special ‘Help Desk’ in Jabalpur
During the review of Jabalpur district, it was informed that a Special ‘Help Desk’ has been set up in Jabalpur to inform the families about the health of patients, admitted in the corona ward. From the ‘Help Desk’, the latest state of the corona patients is being informed to their families.
