CM tours flood affected areas of Nasrullaganj, visits relief camps 
 
 
Bhopal 04 September 2020: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached Chipaner, Ranipura, Chaursakhedi and Dholpur villages of Nasrullaganj tehsil in Sehore district on Friday. He inspected the flood affected areas and visited the relief camps. Addressing villagers in Chhipaner, Chief Minister Chouhan said that the excess rainfall has resulted in huge calamity. Normal life has been disrupted due to floods in the area. Now our priority is to bring people’s lives back to normal again. I maintained constant touch with the administration and ensured evacuation of stranded people by helicopter and boat.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that partial financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh will be given for damaged houses. Electricity arrangements were ensured at war footing. All electricity bills till now have been deferred. Survey of both soybean and paddy will be conducted. Relief amount will be distributed as per provisions of RBC 6-4. The work of adding names to the BPL list will be done. Fifty k.g. grain is being distributed to each family. Sambal Yojana will be reintroduced. Boundary wall of the village school will be built.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that arrangement of kerosene supply and drinking water is being made. Also, our aim is to provide Rs one lakh and separate funds under MNREGA to those flood victims, whose kuchcha houses have been damaged. Farmers will be helped out of the crisis by providing them crop insurance and relief fund. On Corona infection and its prevention, Chief Minister Chouhan said that 70 testing labs have been set up, everyone has to be careful of Corona virus.

Everyone has to wear masks and adhere to social distancing. Also everyone must sanitize their hands. Chief Minister Chouhan visited Dhuniwale Baba in Chhipaner. Divisional Commissioner Kavindra Kiyawat, IG, Collector Ajay Gupta, Superintendent of Police Shashindra Chouhan, Local MP Ramakant Bhargava, Guruprasad Sharma, Raghunath Singh Bhati, Ravi Malviya, Rajendra Singh Rajput, Urmila Maretha, Jaspal Arora and other public representatives as well as officers were present on the occasion – Window to News
