Will compensate loss of farmers even though I have to obtain loan: CM Chouhan

Bhopal 04 September 2020:  Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that even though he has to take loan but he will compensate loss of the farmers with the amount of relief and crop insurance. Chief Minister was addressing farmers after taking stock of the affected crops in Ghairatganj on Friday. The Member of Legislative Assembly from Silwani Rampal Singh was also present on the occasion.

Chief Minister Chouhan told the farmers that it seems that God has made him the Chief Minister again to combat corona and to remove the sufferings and pains of the farmers. He told the farmers that do not bring tears in eyes; I will help in overcoming this crisis by extreme hard work.

Chief Minister Chouhan visited the fields and inspected the damage caused to soybean and urad crops due to yellow-mosaic disease in Ghairatganj. He instructed the district administration that survey work should be done at the earliest and to pay special attention that there is no haste in it. He further mentioned that no affected farmers should be deprived of relief and insurance amount after survey of crops. Also, include 5 panchayat members in the survey work, so that there are no irregularities. He assured the farmers of Begumganj and Silwani that irregularities done in the past will be investigated and this time the survey will be done in a transparent manner. Chief Minister Chouhan said that his government is vigilant and is playing an active role in helping flood victims besides poor farmers. Lives of 13 thousand people, stranded in the flood have been saved last week by working day and night.

Chief Minister Chouhan further stated that no one will sleep empty stomach in Raisen district and ration will be provided after providing them ration slips in thousands at the earliest. Chief Minister assured the small traders of rural areas, affected by corona that an amount of Rs. 10 thousand will be given to them under the Mukhya Mantri Street Vendors scheme on his guarantee.

Will help farmers overcome the crisis: CM Chouhan

Earlier, the Chief Minister Chouhan reached the agriculture fields of Sahajpur village, adjacent to Gairatganj and took stock of the soybean crop affected by yellow-mosaic disease. He was briefed by the agriculture officials that this outbreak has occurred, owing to no rainfall for 3 consecutive weeks. Chief Minister Chouhan consoled the farmer Mahendra Yadav and told him not to bring tears in his eyes, I will help you in overcoming the crisis. He assured all the farmers present on the occasion for every possible help.

Hefty electricity bills of poor deferred

Chief Minister Chouhan has said that he has deferred the hefty electricity bills of poor and month wise bills will be given from this month. He further mentioned that all the schemes meant for the welfare of poor were stopped by the previous government and every such scheme including Sambal has been restartedby him. CM Chouhan said that no one needs to worry now. He stated that date of depositing premium of the Prime Minister Crop Insurance has been extended to September 7 in Raisen. MLA Rampal Singh expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for extending the date.

Arrangement from Labs to oxygen, medicines, ventilators and hospitals ensured in state

Addressing the farmers, Chief Minister Chouhan said that the arrangement from labs to oxygen, medicines, ventilators and hospitals etc. has been ensured in the state to combat corona. He further stated that now any individual will be able to defeat corona infection. There is no need for citizens to panic, better health resources have been made available in all hospitals.
