CM Chouhan gives away prizes to winners of photo contest
Bhopal 02 October 2020: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today awarded the winners of the state level photo contest based on Covid-19 in a programme organized at Manas Bhawan and congratulated the photographers. Chief Minister Chouhan also inaugurated an exhibition of photographs clicked by press photographers of the state during the Corona period. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the creativity of the photographers during Covid-19 crisis is apparent in this exhibition. Different photographs are narrating the story of the Corona period. Chief Minister Chouhan awarded the first prize winner of the photo contest, Sumit from Indore with Rs. 25 thousand. Second prize (Rs. 15 thousand) was awarded to Deepak Jain Indore and third prize (Rs. 11 thousand) to Shakir Siddiqui Indore. About 400 photographs were received in this event organized by the BIMB TV News Service.
Chief Minister Chouhan also distributed cash prize money to three winners in other amateur photographer category. In this, first prize of Rs. 5100 was given to Smt. Shobha Mishra Indore, second prize of Rs 2100 was given to Rajkumar Keswani of Ujjain, and third prize of Rs. 1100 given to Hemant Jaiswal of Indore. On this occasion, Protem Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Rameshwar Sharma gave away certificates to the photographers of merit photographs who took part in the photo contest. Present in the programme were Manas Bhawan official, Raghunandan Sharma, R. C Sahu, Sushil Aggarwal, Nand Kishore, Shubh Mishra, Rakesh Batra, Raza Maval of Bimb T.V.
