Bhopal: Industries and mining minister Rajendra Shukla participated in Devi Jagran programme in Rani Talab Mandir premises in Rewa. He inaugurated the programme by offering garland on portrait of the Goddess. Shukla also feted Bhajan singer Smt. Shahnaj Akhtar.
Extending greetings on the occasion of Navratri, Industries Minister Shukla said that Rewa is spiritual city. There has been tradition here to celebrate all festivals with brotherhood. He said that it is fortunate that people of the city will enjoy Bhajans by Bhajan singer Smt. Shahnaj Akhtar.
Bhajan singer Smt. Shahnaj Akhtar mesmerized audience by presenting devotional songs. The Bhajan concert continued till late night. Before this, Industries Minister Rajendra Shukla performed puja with his wife. Organising committee and members of Gaushala Samiti welcomed the Industries Minister.
Member of Parliament Janardan Mishra, Mayor Smt. Mamta Gupta, Municipal Corporation chairman Satish Soni and devotees were present on the occasion.-WTN
