28 candidates file 34 nomination papers till date

Bhopal 12 October 2020: For the Assembly By-Election 2020, 2 nomination papers were submitted by two candidates on the first day of nomination in 28 assembly constituencies of 19 districts of the state. On Monday, 26 candidates submitted 32 nomination papers.

One nomination each by one each candidate has been submitted in Assembly Constituency No. 7-Dimani, Assembly Constituency Number 5-Sumavali and Assembly Constituency Number 4-Jaura of Morena District, Assembly Constituency No. 202-Badnawar of Dhar District, Assembly Constituency No. 161-Biaora of Rajgarh District, Assembly Constituency Number 211-Sanver of Indore District, Assembly Number 142-Sanchi of Raisen District, Assembly Number 172-Hatpipalya of Dewas District, Assembly Constituency Number 226-Suvasara of Mandsaur District, Assembly constituency number 53-Malhara of Chhatarpur District and Assembly constituency number 166-Agar of Malwa district.

Similarly, 2 nominations each by two candidates have been submitted in Assembly constituency number 8-Ambah and Assembly number 6-Morena of Morena district, Assembly constituency number 24-Pohri of Shivpuri district and Assembly constituency number 28 of Guna district. Four nominations of 3 candidates have been submitted in assembly constituency number 87-Anuppur of Anuppur district and two nominations of one candidate in assembly constituency number 175-Mandhata of Khandwa district.

Like wise, 4 nomination papers of one candidate in assembly number 15-Gwalior of Gwalior district, 3 nomination papers of 2 candidates of Assembly constituency 16-Gwalior East have been submitted. Nomination papers will be submitted by 16 October. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on 17 October. The process of withdrawal of nominations will be held till 19 October.
