Jan-Samvad Held in Aliganj of Raisen District

Bhopal: Namami Devi Narmade - Seva Yatra reached Aliganj after departing from village Mangrol in Badi development block of Raisen district on its 105th day. Narmada Seva Yatra was accorded warm welcome in Aliganj. Narmada kalash and dhwaj pujan was held.

 In the Jan Samvad, MLA Ramkishan Patel said that we will have to do two important tasks for maintaining cleanliness in Narmada river. One is to plant more and more trees on both banks of Narmada. Another is not to cause insanitation in Narmada. He said that we all will make the movement to conserve Narmada river successful.

 Head of Ujjain Akhara Parishad, Shri Shri 1008 Awadheshpuri Maharaj said that we will have to maintain purity of the water which we accept as 'Achman' and use in ablution. He said that pujan methods will have to be changed to maintain sacredness and cleanliness of Narmada. We should not dump pujan material which causes pollution. He appealed to every person of the society to participate in Narmada Seva Yatra being launched by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

 Collector Smt. Bhawana Walimbe said that participation of entire society is very necessary in this unique campaign for maintaining purity and cleanliness of Narmada water.

 District panchayat president Smt Anita Kirar administered resolution to maintain cleanliness in Narmada river and plant more and more saplings. Cultural programmes were presented during the Jan- Samvad programme.

Shri Shri Brahmachari Maharaj, Chairman of State Employee Welfare Committee Shri Rameshchandra Sharma and several public representatives were present on the occasion. Narmada aarti was also performed after Jan Samvad.-WTN
