Example of Communal Harmony
Bhopal: Minister for Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Narottam Mishra said that our state is an example of communal harmony. Muslims bid farewell when Hindus go for Teerth Yatra and when Muslim brothers go for Haj than Hindu brothers bid farewell to honour them. We are ahead in celebrating each other’s festivals. Dr. Mishra was addressing the programme held in honour of Haj pilgrims at Datia.
Minister Dr. Mishra further mentioned that Datia is a city of social harmony. People live here in an atmosphere of harmony and brotherhood under the Ganga-Jamuni culture. They celebrate each other’s festival in such a way that nobody can find out whose festival it is. He stated that all round development has taken place in Datia.
Several works have been carried out for the welfare of the people beside roads, water and electricity. Dr. Saleem Qureshi also expressed his views.
