Bhopal 02 November 2020: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the state government is now preparing a scheme to transfer lump sum amount of subsidies, currently given to farmers under various schemes. He said that the villagers will be given ownership on land and houses, so that they will be able to avail facilities like bank loans on it. In the next three years, those who have kuccha houses will be given assistance by the government to build pucca houses.
Under the Mukhya Mantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana, the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today transferred a total amount of Rs. 100 crore in proportion of Rs. 2 thousand per farmer in the accounts of 5 lakh farmers of the state (Excluding 19 districts where by-elections are taking place) with a single click.
Will get Rs. 10 thousand per annum
Chief Minister Chouhan said that under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana, a total of Rs. 6 thousand in 3 installments of Rs. 2 thousand each is being provided to the farmers every year. Apart from this, under the Mukhya Mantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana, now an amount of Rs. 2 thousand will be provided to them twice a year. In this way, farmers will receive a total amount of Rs. 10 thousand in their accounts every year. About 80 lakh farmers of the state are being benefitted from this scheme, he added.
Farmers will not have take permission for felling/planting trees
Chief Minister Chouhan said that under agro forestry, at present farmers have to go through a complex process for planting and cutting trees. A new law will be made in this regard, so that they will not need any permission for planting, cutting and selling trees.
Assistance to girl students for self-employment
Chief Minister Chouhan has said that the government is preparing a scheme to help girl students for self-employment, who will pass 12th class, so that they can become self-reliant and bring name and fame to the state. Along with this, they can continue with the studies after 12th class.
Prohatsahan Rashi for Maize
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the government will start procuring paddy and bajra soon and every single grain of farmers will be procured. Protshan Rashi of maize will be transferred to farmers' accounts – Window to News
