Bhopal 09 November 2020: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the Anusuchit Janjati Wrin Vimukti Adhiniyam -2020 has been enacted to take action against usurers. Under the Act, a provision has been made to waive off the loans given against the rules till August 15, 2020. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the birthday of revolutionary Birsa Munda will be celebrated as Adivasi Gaurav Diwas. Chouhan was interacting at Sahariya Jan-Choupal in village Bargawan, Karahal Tribal Block of Sheopur district.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the usurers will have to return, whatever has been mortgaged by the members of the Sahariya community. Denial will result in a 3-year sentence. He said that it is the responsibility of the collectors to extend benefits of this law to all eligible people. Chouhan said that people indulged in wrongdoings will not be spared.

Adivasi Gaurav Diwas

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the birthday of revolutionary Birsa Munda will be celebrated as Adivasi Gaurav Diwas on Diwali. He said that Birsa Munda had fought a tough battle against the British to throw them out from India as well as against injustice and atrocities.
Chouhan said that the Mukhya Mantri Kalyan Nidhi Yojana has been linked with the Kisan Samman-Nidhi Yojana. Farmers will get Rs. 10 thousand under this. He said that the benefit of the scheme will also be given on possession of 0.75 acre land, names of missed out people will be added.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that 7 thousand food grains eligibility slips have been issued in Sheopur district. Those who are deprived of these slips, their names will be added after a survey. He instructed that if the list of poverty line contains names of affluent people, then they should be removed. Chouhan said that ration shops should be rationalized if they are located far.

Uniform to students through self-help groups

Chief Minister Chouhan while interacting in Jan-Choupal said that books have been made available to school students. From the next session, uniforms will be made available to them after getting them stitched through self-help groups. An amount of Rs. 6096 is being given under Matra Vandana Yojana. Under the scheme, 3556 beneficiaries have been benefitted. An amount of Rs. One thousand is being given to the head of the Sahariya family for nutrition. Benefit of this should be ensured to all eligible women after conducting a survey. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the Atal Progress-Way will pave a way of development for Sheopur district.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that action is being taken to make certificates of members of Bhil tribe. The government will bear the fees of the children of the families which come under Sambal Yojana. A facility of providing electricity bill of Rs. 100 has been provided for Sahriya families. On the demand of MLA Sitaram Adiwasi, he assured construction of dam, pond and road.

CM Chouhan holds direct talks

Chief Minister Chouhan held direct talks at Sahriya Jan-Choupal with Sarpanch Ramvati Adivasi of Bargawan village, Sarpanch Nandu Adivasi of Karahal, Sunita Adivasi of Gauras Jai Durge Group, Smt. Vimla Bai of Radhaswami Group Malipura, Kaliyabai of Karahal Group, Nikudi Adivasi of Gadhla Group, Sunita Bhilwad of Doodikheda and Guddibai, former president of Jila Panchayat. Local MLA Sitaram Adivasi also expressed his views on the occasion.

Made earthern utensils by using wheel

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached the house of Kalyan Prajapati in Bargawan village and first learned the method of making earthen utensils and then made a clay bottle by using the wheel. He also sought information in context to his earnings from pottery.

Had his meal at Sarpanch Smt. Ramvati’s house

After Sahriya Jan-Choupal in village Bargawan, Chief Minister Chouhan had his meal served on pattal at the house of Sarpanch Ramvati Adivasi. Sarpanch Ramvati thanked the Chief Minister for his humbleness and simplicity. She said that it is a matter of happiness for the whole community that the Chief Minister had his meal at her house.
