Mahakavi Keshav Smriti Samaroh “Orchha Mahotsav” from April 5-7

Bhopal: The Mahakavi Keshav Smriti Samaroh “Örchha Mahotsav”will be organised at the Ramraja temple premises in Orchha of Tikamgarh district from April 5-7. Director of Sahitya Academy Dr. Umesh Kumar Singh informed that the Mahotsav will be inaugurated by Chief Guest local MLA Anil Jain. District Planning Committee Member Abhaypratap Singh will preside over the programme.
The inaugural session would be on April 5 from 7 in the evening which will be addressed by Chancellor of Bundelkhand University, Jhansi Dr. Surendra Dubey and Assistant Professor (Hindi) Punit Bisariya followed by a kavi sammelan in the night. Among those who will recite poetry are Govind Rathi (Shujalpur), Ashok Bhati (Ujjain). Shambhu Shikhar (Patna), Prakash Pateria (Chhatarpur), Ashutosh Sharma (Shivpuri), Anil Tejaswa (Jatara), Shri Rajendra Bidua (Tikamgarh), Smt.
Namrata Jain (Chhatarpur) and Ved Pastaur (Tikamgarh).
On April 6, there would be a dance performance ‘Moniya Nritya’ and drama by Umesh Vaidya (Sagar) and local schools at night.
The programme will conclude on April 7 with sermons focused on Ramcharit Manas by Pandit Shyam Manawat Kalapipal and Mahant Ramanand Ji Maharaj.-WTN
