Tribal families occupying forest land since long will get forest land pattas

No one’s land will get submerged in the Seep river irrigation project
CM Chouhan distributes forest rights pattas at Bhilai village of Sehore district 
 
 
Bhopal 20 December 2020: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that forest rights pattas will be given to tribal families occupying forest land before 2006. No one’s land will be submerged in the Seep river irrigation project, and water will reach the fields through pipes from the project. By next year, 20 thousand acres of land of 24 villages will get irrigation facility through the Rs 175 crore Seep river irrigation project.

Chief Minister Chouhan was distributing forest rights pattas to tribal families in Bhilai village of Nasrullaganj tehsil in Sehore district today. Forest rights pattas were distributed to 1216 beneficiaries in the programme. Forest rights were given to the forest dwellers of Ichawar, Ashta, Nasrullaganj and Budhni. Animal Husbandry Minister Prem Singh Patel, MP Ramakant Bhargav, Rajya Sabha Member Sumer Singh Solanki etc. were present in the programme.

CM plays dhol and dances with tribal brethren
On reaching the village, the Chief Minister was given a warm welcome by the tribal brethren. Chief Minister Chouhan was also overwhelmed by their love. Chouhan played the big dhol and also danced with them. The tribals also presented bow-arrow to Chief Minister Chouhan in his honour.
 
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Sai Prasad Company will not be spared as it has not given compensated the farmers for their land. The assets of the company have been confiscated and this property will be sold to provide compensation to the farmers. He instructed the collector to take immediate action.

All will get concrete houses and ration

Chief Minister Chouhan assured the tribal families that all of them will be provided concrete houses under the Pradhan Mantri and Mukhya Mantri Awas Yojana and that they need not worry. Kisan Samman Nidhi will also be given to all the families getting forest rights pattas along with all government schemes. No poor person will go hungry.

Dharamshala of Barla Samaj will be built in Nasrullaganj

Chief Minister Chouhan announced that a magnificent Dharamshala of Barla Samaj will be built in Nasrullaganj tehsil headquarters in honour of tribals. He called upon all families to educate their children. All the arrangements from fees to education will be made by their Shivraj Mama.

Honour of tribals will be fully protected

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the honor of forest dwellers will be protected at all costs. “The previous governments exploited you, but I and my government will provide every possible facility, including roads, forest pattas, schools, irrigation in every village.” He talked about forming maximum number of self-help groups for empowerment of tribal women and providing them financial assistance from banks by training them according to their interest. People who violate the rights of tribals, force them into religious conversion, and harass the tribal women will not be spared. There is no place for mafia and miscreants in the state – Window to News
