Police Service Meet Should be Organised Every Year

CM Chouhan Attends I.P.S. Service Meet
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that programme like Police Officers Meet should be organised every year. He mentioned that these kinds of programmes provide new energy and strength toward discharging duties. Chouhan was addressing the Service Meet-2017 of I.P.S. Officers of Madhya Pradesh in Police Officers Mess today.
CM Chouhan said that he is happy to come amid the families of police officers. Police officers have such duties which do not give them enough time to spend with their families. Appreciated the dance–drama ‘Om Narmade:Nama:’ presented by Bhopal zone, Chouhan told that this drama should be staged at other places also.
Chouhan distributed the prizes to the winner teams. First prize was given to Bhopal zone followed by second prize to Indore and third prize to Jabalpur. Special prize for solo presentation was presented to Additional Superintendent of Police Smt. Yangchin D. Bhutia of Jabalpur.
Musical description on story of Narmada’s origin till its end was given in the dance-drama ‘Om Narmade:Nama:’. Teams of Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur and Gwalior zones presented attractive cultural presentations. Family members of I.P.S. officers took part in the presentations.
Director General of Police Rishi Kumar Shukla and his wife Smt. Neelam Shukla welcomed CM Chouhan and his wife Smt. Sadhna Singh presenting bouquets.
President I.P.S. Officers Association Pawan Jain gave vote of thanks. Programme was conducted by Vinay Upadhyaya.-WTN
