Chief Minister Chouhan visits ancient Guru Gufa

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited the ancient Guru Gufa along with his wife Smt. Sadhna Singh at Neemkheda (Heerapur) village in Narsinghpur district.
The cave belongs to Adi Shankaracharya’s reverend Guru Govind Bhagwat Padacharyaji Maharaj where he performed penance. The cave is Guru Shankaracharya’s Diksha and Sadhna-sthal also. The Chief Minister who reached here to take part in the “Namami-Devi Narmade”-Seva Yatra said that this is a unique Sadhna-sthal and he was fortunate enough to have got the opportunity to visit such a holy place.
Jagadguru Shankaracharya, Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati Maharaj, Public Works Minister and District in charge Minister Rampal Singh was also present on the occasion.

Chief Minister plants saplings
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted saplings near the Guru Gufa along with Smt. Sadhna Singh at Neemkheda (Heerapur) village. He planted saplings of Triveni Pipal, Bargad and Neem. On this occasion 11 fruit bearing saplings planted including Mango, Sapota, Pomegranate Black Berry.-WTN
