All development works in Rewa district will be done on top priority: CM Chouhan

Bhopal 25 January 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan dedicated a Compost Plant of Integrated Solid Waste Management Unit costing Rs 158.67 crore at Pahadia village in Rewa district. He also dedicated 42 works costing Rs 237.895 crore and laid the foundation stone for three works costing Rs 16.5753 crore on the occasion. The dedication ceremony began with kanya pujan.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that all development works in Rewa district will be done on top priority. People of Rewa here have given him immense affection. Now, no effort will be spared to come up to their expectations. In Rewa, 6 tanks will be constructed at a cost of Rs 37 crore and fresh water will be provided in the remaining city area. The remaining work will be completed on priority after approving funds for the Bahuti-Naigarhi project. The work of supplying tap water in every house in villages is under progress through the Kandela project in Rewa. He announced that the school will be upgraded to higher secondary in Pahadia village from next session and sub-health centre building will also be constructed. The Chief Minister instructed that action should be taken to start the work of construction of Patna-Pahadia canal.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that fertilizer will be made by disposing waste through modern machines from the garbage treatment plant, and this will also generate electricity in the coming time. There will not be any kind of pollution from this plant. Reiterating his commitment to the development of Rewa he said that with the facility of canals and the hard work of the farmers, the farmers of Vindhya will take Rewa to the forefront in the field of farming, which will change the destiny and scenario here.

Paddy worth Rs 6.5 crores has been procured in Rewa district and Rs 600 crores has been sent to farmers’ accounts. The state will remain first in the country in the purchase of wheat with the cooperation of the farmers of Rewa. He said that many public welfare schemes are being implemented to ensure that the farmers and general public are happy. The process of providing Khasra-Khatauni, income and bona fide resident certificate through mobile has been started to facilitate people. He instructed that the Patwari should remain in their halka for two days in a week.

Former Minister and Rewa MLA Rajendra Shukla said that the dedication of waste treatment plant is a gift for Rewa. This is the third major achievement given to the district by Chouhan after becoming the Chief Minister. Solar plant, super specialty hospital and waste treatment plant are proof of this. He said that Rewa is being established on the lines of a metropolis. Work is being done to make the city an ideal city by ensuring fresh water in every household and disposal of dirty water and domestic waste. The waste treatment plant will serve to make Rewa city an ideal city. With its commencement the urban bodies of Satna and Sidhi along with Rewa city will become clean and will become an ideal urban body by fulfilling the criteria of cleanliness. He thanked the Chief Minister Chouhan for his support and support for the achievements of Rewa district.

MP Janardhan Mishra said that with the efforts of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, 80 percent of Rewa district will be irrigated and the day is not far when the farmers of this region will surpass the farmers of Punjab. He said that Pahadia village has joined the stream of development. Bhavesh Malhotra of Remki Company gave detailed information about the waste treatment plant. The residents of Pahadia also honoured the Chief Minister in the programme. Public representatives, including MLA Girish Gautam, Panchulal Prajapati, Shyamlal Dwivedi, Pradeep Patel, Divyaraj Singh, KP Tripathi, officials and villagers were present on this occasion.

Benefits distributed to the beneficiaries

Chief Minister Chouhan handed over the keys of the house to the beneficiaries of Prime Minister’s Urban Housing including Mithilesh Saket, Amar Bansal, Ravita Mishra, Sameer Siddiqui and Rekha Tomar. On this occasion, the beneficiaries of Sambal Yojana, National Family Assistance Scheme, Kalyani Yojana, Mukhya Mantri Awas Yojana, Social Security, Disabled Pension Scheme and Old Age Pension Scheme were provided benefits.

Didi Cafe launched at Nutritious food plant
Chief Minister tastes Poha and Tea made by Self Help Group

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated Didi Cafe located at the Nutritious food Plant Complex in Pahadia. He said that the canteen should be run by women self-help groups only. The above canteen will be run by Vishwakarma self-help group of Pahadia. The Didi Cafe will be operated to provide tea and breakfast to the employees working in the Nutrition Plant. Chief Minister Chouhan ate poha and drank tea made by the self-help group in the canteen and appreciated the quality of the food. On this occasion, the Chief Minister distributed a credit limit of Rs one lakh to various self-help groups.

Nutritious food plant in Pahadia

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inspected the nutritious food plant of Pahadia during his stay in Rewa. He instructed that the work of running nutritious food plant should be given to women self-help groups. He said that the children of Rewa and Shahdol divisions are being nourished by nutritious food manufactured in this plant.
