Bhopal 06 February 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the government is committed to the all-round development of Katni. Today we have prepared the roadmap for the development of the urban area. Under this roadmap, development works worth Rs 704 crore will be undertaken in the urban area. Chief Minister Chouhan performed bhoomi pujan and dedicated development works worth more than Rs 54 crore in Katni today.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that no stone will be left unturned in the development of Katni industrial city. Local Amirganj Talab will be beautified. A scheme worth Rs 28 crore has been planned for the development of Katni Riverfront. Widening work and other works will be undertaken at a cost of Rs 3 crore for the new bridge on Katayeghat. Bypass ring road Katni to Shahdol road will be constructed.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that a well-equipped bus stand will be constructed in Katni district under the Mukhya Mantri Infrastructure Construction. Chouhan also directed the local administration to select and identify land for the airstrip at Katni to promote tourism and industrial development. Multilevel parking will be constructed for safe and smooth traffic in the city. An ROB to connect Katni South Station and Chhaparwah area will be constructed. With this, the three main railway stations of Katni will be connected.

Chouhan said that Katni district is a mining stronghold. Efforts will be made to establish mining industry in the district by exploiting all mineral resources. Local people will be employed by upgrading their skills and imparting training in related trades according to the industrial requirements of Kymore and Katni. From tourism point of view, Konia Tapu located in the backwater area of ​​Bansagar will be developed in the Bandhavgarh and Vijairaghavgarh area of Katni.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the state government is in a different mood this time. Mafia, crooks and goons will not be spared at any cost. Officers have direct orders to take strict action against them.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that we will empower self-help groups. Every month, funds are being sent to the accounts of self-help groups. Women members of the groups will make uniforms also. Nutritious food will also be made by self-help groups. Strict action will be taken against those who dare to raise their heads against women.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that cooperation of general public is must in the de-addiction campaign. Those who present on the occasion were administered the resolve to participate actively in this campaign.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that till now we have auctioned the assets of several chit fund companies and paid several crores to the affected people. No mafia will be spared on the land of Madhya Pradesh, this is my resolution.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the poor have the first right over the state exchequer. We have restarted the Sambal Yojana as it is the strength and support of the poor.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Ayushman card of every eligible poor person should be made. For this, public representatives should also work with departmental officers in their area.
MP V.D. Sharma said that Madhya Pradesh is developing at a fast pace under the leadership of Chief Minister Chouhan. The roadmap which has been made for the development of Katni will definitely make the district number one.
