ACC cement plant will provide employment to 5 thousand people - Chief Minister Chouhan

State's industrial policy prepared, 75% local people will get employment in industries- Mineral Resources Minister
Chief Minister Chouhan performed bhumi pujan of new unit of ACC at Amehta in Katni district 
 
 
Bhopal 06 February 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that our objective is to build self-reliant Madhya Pradesh. I am happy that the bhumi pujan of ACC plant costing about 2 thousand crores is being done today. This project will be completed by March 2022. Chief Minister Chouhan performed bhumi pujan of the new unit of ACC Limited at village Amehta in Katni district’s Kymore today.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the government is doing development at a fast pace. Industries will provide employment. Farming also generates employment. Katni district is richly endowed with mineral wealth. About 5 thousand people will get direct and indirect employment from this plant, of which 75 percent will be local youth.

ITI should be opened in the village

Chief Minister Chouhan proposed that the government and ACC jointly open an ITI in the village under corporate social responsibility. He asked the youths to develop their skills. The government will provide skilled manpower to industries. The region has special mining possibilities. Here employment opportunities can be enhanced through mining and processing.

This plant will change the economic condition

Chief Minister i Chouhan said that this ACC plant will change the economic condition of the region. It is environment-friendly and will not use underground water. Also, 33 percent of the area will remain green belt.
Bypass will be built
Chief Minister Chouhan said that arrangements will be made for construction of Kymore, Vijayraghavgarh and Barhi bypass. The Pipariya-Badavan-Sudari-Khatauli road will also be refurbished.

Brave daughter Archana Kewat honoured

Chief Minister Chouhan honoured the brave daughter Archana Kewat in the programme and blessed her. Archana will be given a Samman Nidhi of 51 thousand rupees by the government. Archana showed indomitable courage while facing the miscreants. Chief Minister Chouhan said that Archana is a symbol of women empowerment. The other daughters should also take inspiration from Archana.

40 daughters returned in Muskan campaign

Chief Minister Chouhan congratulated the police and administration for bringing 40 daughters back to their homes safely under the Muskan campaign in the state. He said that the safety of daughters is our top priority. We will not spare those who are a threat to our daughters.

Approval given in 40 minutes

Mineral Resources and Labor Minister Brijendra Pratap Singh said that today a big project has been launched in Amehta. Its MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Chouhan and its approval was given in 40 minutes. Industrial policy is ready in the state, under which 75 percent local people will get employment in industries.

Facilities to investors in Madhya Pradesh

MP V.D. Sharma said that Madhya Pradesh government is giving various types of facilities to investors. Ease of doing business in Madhya Pradesh will give a boost to industries. ACC has done a commendable job by setting up a plant here at a cost of about 2 thousand crores. Also, it has fulfilled its social responsibility. This will provide employment to local youth – window to news
