Ensure successful execution of second phase of “Gramoday Se Bharat Uday” Abhiyan

Make adequate arrangements for drinking water supply in rural areas
District in-charge minister Dr. Narottam Mishra in Rewa DPC meeting  

Bhopal: District Planning Committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of water resources, public relations and parliamentary affairs and Rewa district in-charge minister Dr. Narottam Mishra. Dr Mishra said that successful execution of the second phase of Gramoday Se Bharat Uday Abhiyan to be held between April 14 and May 31 should be ensured. He instructed to make arrangements for drinking water in rural areas during summer season.

 Dr. Mishra said that Gramoday Se Bharat Uday Abhiyan has to be executed, reviewing GPDP and action plan for next two years, increasing social harmony and brotherhood. Carry out scrutiny in applications to be received including eligible beneficiaries in public welfare and beneficiary oriented development schemes and set their priority. He instructed to execute Jalabhishek Abhiyan making next two months action plan and plan for plantation under Hariyali Mahotsava. Instructions have been issued in the campaign to achieve targets in agriculture, health and revenue departments within time frame.

 District in-charge minister instructed to carry out preparations in advance for avoiding water crisis in rural areas in summer season. He asked to dig new hand pumps on the place of dried hand pumps and install riser pipes in hand pumps where water level has declined, with starting closed Nal-Jal Yojana. Besides, instructions were issued to ensure drinking water supply from bore well finding water resources at Gram Panchayat level and concerned rural staff staying at headquarters. Reviewing preparations of Krishi Mahotsava, Dr. Mishra said that every farmer should have agriculture insurance so that compensation can be taken from the claim. He asked to aware public in this regard. He instructed to carry out execution on action plan for doubling income from agriculture in next five years, making coordination.

 District in-charge minister said that sanction on the basis of need from mineral institution fund with setting priority in drinking water, environment protection, health, education, and physical infrastructure and irrigation areas.-WTN
