Bhopal: White Tiger is the pride of Vindhya. With the Mukundpur White Tiger Safari, the pride of Vindhya has returned. This Safari will be made the world’s best Tiger Safari. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said this while touring round the Maharaja Martand Singh Judeo White Tiger Safari Mukundpur. He was accompanied by his wife Sadhna Singh, Commerce-Industry and Mineral Resources Minister Rajendra Shukla and his wife Sunita Shukla.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh government will leave no stone unturned in making the Mukundpur White Tiger Safari one of the best in the world. A high-level meeting has been called next week in Bhopal in which all decisions in this connection will be taken. Fund flow for the Safari and Zoo will be ensured at all levels. Industry Minister Rajendra Shukla said that the White Tiger Safari will be given shape as per the work plan and imagination.

The Chief Minister said that he was happy to know that foreign tourists were becoming more inclined towards the safari and they had even visited the safari to see the White Tiger. He issued instructions that proper care should be taken of the White Tiger, Bengal Tiger and other wild animals. He said that efforts should be made so that the number of White Tigers multiplies in the supervision of the experts. Mukundpur region is a natural habitat for white tigers as the climate here suits them. The Chief Minister expressed happiness on seeing White Tigress Vindhya, Bengal Tiger and other wild animals.
During his tour round the safari, the Chief Minister took information about the implementation of the measures taken to tackle the floods during the rainy season last year. He said that efforts to save Rewa residents from floods should be paced up. Industry Minister Shukla, Divisional Commissioner S.K. Paul and Collector Rahul Jain apprised the Chief Minister with the efforts and works undertaken so far to tackle floods.-WTN
