Work Plan to be made for Narmada Seva: Chief Minister Chouhan

Preparations for PM Modi’ proposed Amarkantak Yatra on May 11 reviewed 

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today reviewed preparations for Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s proposed Amarkantak Yatra on May 11 for Narmada Seva Yatra conclusion and Narmada Seva inaugural programme.

Chouhan reviewed the essential preparations for the Prime Minister’s arrival, departure, stage arrangement, cultural programme and participation of Narmada Sevaks. He fixed the responsibilities of different departments including Public Relations, Public Works, Urban Development, Jan Abhiyan Parishad, Narmada Valley Development etc. He issued instructions to prepare a future work plan for Narmada Seva inauguration for which a national workshop will be organised and experts’ thoughts will be included.

Chouhan issued instructions to ensure arrangements for drinking water for the Narmada Sevaks, well-wishers and yatris who will participate in the Narmada Seva inauguration. He discussed topics including participation of gram panchayats on the Narmada banks, invitations to special guests, honouring Narmada Seva Yatris etc. and issued necessary instructions.

Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Rural Development Radheshyam Julania, Additional Chief Secretary Forests Deepak Khandekar, Principal Secretary Culture Manoj Shrivastava, Principal Secretary Urban Development Malay Shrivastava, Principal Secretary General Administration Smt. Seema Sharma, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Ashok Vernawal, Public Relations Commissioner Anupam Rajan and Secretary Vivek Agarwal were also present.-WTN
