‘Rozgar Ki Padhai – Chalen I.T.I.’ Campaign from April 20

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reviewed efforts being made for promotion of vocational education at Mantralaya today. CM Chouhan said that Industrial Training Institutes are playing an important role in expanding vocational education in the state. Better employment opportunities are available through vocational education. Effective efforts should be made for people’s awareness to expand the reach of I.T.Is.
It was informed in the meeting that an awareness campaign ‘Rozgar ki Padhai- Chalen I.T.I’ will be conducted from April 20 related to various subjects of I.T.Is. and better scope of employment for the students of Middle and Higher Secondary classes. The campaign will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister Chouhan at Gas Relief I.T.I. Bhopal. This campaign will continue till April 30 in which training officers of the I.T.Is will visit schools for students’ orientation. Summer schools will be organised in all the I.T.Is. from May 1 to June 15. Efforts will be made to increase inclination of students towards technical education. Information on various courses will be given as per their interest. The campaign will be conducted affiliating it with ‘School Chale Hum’ campaign from June 15 to 30. Also exposure visit programmes will be organised to encourage students towards skill development. Moreover, Skill Summit will be organised on June 1 to introduce investors and youths with availability of skilled manpower and new opportunities of employment generation.
Chief Minister Chouhan also observed the portal of Rajiv Gandhi Proudhyogiki Vishwavidhyalaya. It was informed that mark sheets of all the examinations during the study period will be made available to the students on the portal. Students can also take the prints from the portal.
Minister of State for Technical Education Deepak Joshi, Chief Secretary B.P. Singh, Principal Secretaries to CM Ashok Varnval and S.K. Mishra, Principal Secretary Technical Education Smt. Kalpana Shrivastava and other Officers were present on the occasion.-WTN
