Amazing Scene of Maa Narmada’s Aarti

Bhopal: The ‘Aarti’ has a significant place in the prayers offered to God. During prayers, one enters the spiritual world by ending all negativity and impurities though ‘Aarti’. The ‘aarti’ during the Narmadashtak offered on the banks of the river Narmada today evening at Bhedaghat in Jabalpur removed all negativity in the atmosphere and the environment became pure.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Smt. Sadhana Singh Chouhan, Forest Minister Gourishankar Shaijwar, State Minister for Medical Education (Independent Charge) Sharad Jain, Mla's Smt. Pratibha Singh and Susheel Tiwari, Former Minister Ajay Vishnoi, Actor Annu Kapoor, Swami Girishanand Ji, Sadhawi Smt. Pragya Bharti, other seer and sant's and large number of people's were present during the Arati.
During the Arati the scene after the ‘Akhand Deepak’ was lit simultaneously was amazing. The intake of water from the Narmada before prayers purified the mind and body. The dhoop aarti, chanwar, panch-paatra, pujan-thali, ghanti, shankh, karpurdani, pujan pradakshina etc purified the atmosphere and one experiences peace of mind.
The use of dhoop, incense sticks along with karpur (camphor) cleansed the atmosphere enveloping everyone with fragrance and freshness. It was a feeling of complete surrender at the feet of the almighty after all impurities were cleared from within. An environment of goodness and positivity was generated with the removal of ego. After the aarti, touching the jyoti with one’s hand and then touching one’s forehead and eyes gave one purity of thought and outlook.-WTN
