Chief Minister Chouhan takes part in Griha-Pravesh
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today took part in the ‘Griha-Pravesh’ of the house constructed under Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme (Rural) by Udayraj, son of Sitaram, a resident of Gavli Palasia village near Mhow-Ambedkar Nagar in Indore district. Udayraj’s joy knew no bounds to have the Chief Minister for the Griha-Pravesh of his house. The Chief Minister gave his best wishes to Udayraj. Udayraj’s new concrete house was constructed in 45 days for which he was sanctioned Rs one lakh 35 thousand in three installments. Forest Minister Dr. Gaurishankar Shejwar, Minister of State for Narmada Valley Development (Independent Charge) and General Adminstration Lalsingh Arya, District Panchayat President Smt. Kavita Patidar and other people’s representatives were present on the occasion.
Udayraj used to live in a two-bedded kuchcha house in Gavli Palasia until 45 days back. He was working with Kishen Patel, also from the same village as a tractor driver. Due to advancing age, he started having problems in his back and hand joints. He said that he was concerned about having a pucca (concrete) house particularly during rainy season. Fortunately his house was the first to be constructed under the Prime Minister’s Housing Mission and so he was very happy.
Chief Minister Chouhan sat for the ‘havan’ during the ‘griha pravesh’ of his house. Earlier, the Chief Minister garlanded Udayraj who was seated on a wheel-chair.-WTN
