Society can progress by educating children

FM Malaiyya dedicates Ambedkar Bhavan at Damoh  

Bhopal: Finance Minister Jayant Malaiyya said that the society can progress only by educating children. For this children should be compulsorily sent to school, he said. Finance Minister Shri Malaiyya was dedicating the Ambedkar Bhavan constructed at a cost of Rs 60 lakh in Damoh on Friday.

Finance Minister Malaiyya said that the state government will not let finances come in the way of education of talented children. State government will bear the expenses poor talented children who have acquired 75 per cent marks in Class XIIth and have taken admission in institutes like Medical, Engineering and IIM. The Finance Minister said that 65 liquor shops on the banks of the Narmada will be shut down from April 2017. He urged citizens to extend their support to free the state from addiction. Local people’s representatives were present on the occasion.

Finance Minister Malaiyya unveiled the statue of Baba Saheb Ambedkar at Imlai village of the district on Ambedkar Jayanti. He said that the state government was constantly working on maintaining harmony in society.-WTN
