Yatra accorded grand and heartily welcome in every area of Jabalpur city

Bhopal: Narmada Seva Yatra was accorded grand welcome in different parts of Jabalpur city. Dhwaj and Kalash pujan was performed, giving grand welcome of the Yatra at Geeta Dham, Rampur, Katanga Square, Sadar Penty Naka, Gora Bazaar, Bilhari, Tilhari, after it started from Gwarighat.
Participating in the Yatra, MLA Ashok Rohani said that it is collective responsibility to keep clean and pure Narmada river. Plantation will be carried out at both the shores of Narmada river to maintain its glory. In an appeal to people to maintain cleanliness at Narmada ghats, he said that dirt should not let to go in Narmada. Prosperity will come in life, if Narmada remains clean. He administered oath to people to keep Narmada river clean in Bilhari during the Yatra. MLA Ashok Rohani and nominated MLA Smt LB Lobo were participating in the Yatra with taking Dhwaj and Kalash. Yatra was welcomed at many places by showering flowers.
Muslim Rashtriya Manch, Kent Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal, Shivaji Prakhand welcomed the Yatra. Common people took part in it in a big number. People were reciting slogans 'Narmada Maiya Ki Jay'. It was given a warm welcome by school children having placard in their hands.-WTN
