“Koushalya Yojana” for Women Skill Development Approved

Cabinet Decisions 

Bhopal: Cabinet meeting held under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today gave approval to 'Koushalya Yojana’ for women skill development. Short term skill training will be imparted to 2 lakh women every year under this new scheme. Administrative sanction of Rs. 254 crore 78 lakh in the current financial year and Rs. 274 crore 34 lakh has been given for the next financial year.

Similarly, approval has been given by the cabinet to impart training to One lakh 10 thousand trainees for skill development under the Mukhyamantri Skill Development scheme. Administrative sanction of Rs. 121 crore 50 lakh for the current financial year and Rs. 132 crore 25 lakh has been given for the next financial year.

With an objective to provide communication, cash and other transaction facilities to youths through mobile application, the cabinet has decided to give mobile in addition to the girls under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah /Nikah Yojana.

Moreover, the cabinet has decided to provide Rs. 5 thousand per family every month to 108 families residing in 3 leprosy ashrams. This additional amount will be spent on residential arrangements, rehabilitation beside education and employment of children by Mahatma Gandhi Kushth Ashram-Bhopal, Kusth Seva Ashram Nanda Nagar –Indore and Karuna Sadan Kushth Nivaran Sanstha Ranapur – Jhabua aided by Social Justice and Disable Person Welfare department.

The cabinet has given approval for creation of 23 temporary posts for proper functioning of work in State Finance Commission for its working tenure.

Furthermore, the cabinet has declared the State Cooperative Marketing Federation Ltd. as Nodal Agency of the state for arrangements of chemical fertilisers for the period of three years from 2017-18. A government guarantee of Rs. 850 crore has been provided by the state government to the MARKFED for arrangements of chemical fertilisers.

The cabinet has given an administrative sanction of Rs. 384 crore 8 lakh to Dindori medium irrigation project for 9920 hectare Rabi irrigation capacity. This project will benefit 42 villages of Karanjia and Bajag blocks of Dindori district. This project will also provide water for Rural Group Potable Water scheme.

Moreover, the cabinet has given an administrative sanction of Rs. 132 crore to develop 9100 hectare Rabi irrigation capacity for Karanjia Micro Irrigation Canal Project. This project will benefit 38 villages of Dindori district.

The cabinet has decided to provide additional benefit under the special rehabilitation package approved for Bansujara Large Irrigation Project of Tikamgarh district. According to the decision additional rehabilitation grant equivalent to 50 percent amount of market value beside market value determined by the collector in the cases of purchase of houses with mutual consent will be payable. A total of 2465 displaced families will get Rs. 16 crore 75 lakh as additional rehabilitation grant as a result of the decision.

The cabinet has decided to increase special salaries of special assistants/private secretaries/personal assistants posted in the personal establishment of ministers and officers of mantralaya from July 30, 2013.

Moreover, the cabinet has decided to transfer the employees of Government Lekhan Samagri evam Prakashan Bhandar closing its offices after 2016-17 to the Controller Government Press.

The cabinet has given approval to start diploma courses in textile branch and women hostel in Government Polytechnic College Nasrullahganj, Sehore. A total of 8 academic and 9 non academic posts have been approved in this connection.

Furthermore, an administrative sanction of Rs. 74 crore 50 lakh towards revised group water supply scheme for 205 fluoride affected settlements of Petlawad, Thandla, Jhabua, Ranapur and Rama blocks of Jhabua district.-WTN
