Minister Dhurve Expresses Grief over Harrai Incident

Bhopal: Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Omprakash Dhurve has expressed grief over fire incident occurred during the kerosene distribution at Harrai of district Chhindwara. He has directed the Principal Secretary of the department for detail investigation of the incident. Dhurve obtained information from the district Collector related to the incident. He prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed souls and for speedy recovery of the injured persons. Dhurve has informed that an ex-gratia amount of Rs. 4 lakh to the family of each deceased person and Rs. 50 thousand to each injured person has been sanctioned by the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Minister Dhurve has told the Principal Secretary Food and Civil Supplies to find out the reasons investigating the incident and to ensure that this kind of incident should not occur in future at other centers.-WTN
