Seva Yatra will become Foundation of ‘Swarnim Madhya Pradesh’

Bhopal: “Namami Devi Narmade”–Seva Yatra will become foundation of Swarnim Madhya Pradesh. This is a conceptual and innovative public movement. Mahamandaleshwar Swami Akhileshwaranand expressed his views in Jan-Samvad held at Kalpi of Mandla district today.

Mahamandaleshwar Swami Akhileshwaranand said that water crisis is increasing in the entire world day by day. Taking it seriously, the state government has started seva yatra. The yatra is getting immense public support. Public awareness towards water and environment conservation is increasing through yatra. It is a good sign for future. Informing about the ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’ campaign and other public welfare schemes, he praised the efforts of the government. Deliberating especially on De-addiction, Gou-Palan, Organic Farming, Education, Health, Sanitation, Plantation and solutions for water conservation, he urged the people to adopt elevated life style protecting environment. Names of Narmada Seva Committee were also announced in the Jan-Samvad.

Vice Chairman Text Book Corporation Avdhesh Nayak mentioned that common men now understand the importance of water conservation through seva yatra. He called upon the people for construction of water bodies, plantation and to encourage organic farming. MLA Rampyare Kulaste stated that Narmada River is a lifeline of the state. Constructive efforts are being made for Narmada’s conservation through yatra. The yatra is a public campaign linked to the social concerns. Lakhs of people are making efforts devoutly to achieve the noble resolution of the Chief Minister.

Plantation was carried out in Kanya Ashram Bijadandi before the Jan-Samvad at Kalpi. Yatra reached Kalpi covering Dhanvahi, Labar Mudiya and Chargaon Kalan.

People accorded welcome to yatra from place to place. Women and girls holding kalashs were walking along with the yatra. Citizens welcomed the yatra showering flowers. Pledge for Narmada’s conservation was administered to the people present on the occasion during the Jan-Samvad. President Janpad Panchayat Bijadandi Smt. Alka Gothriya, Vice President Smt. Hemlata Yadav, Member Sandeep Namdev and Mishri Yadav were present on the occasion.-WTN
