CM Chouhan announces construction of grand Devi Ahilya Smarak and works of Rs 200 crores
Dedicates 11 oxygen plants worth Rs 11.35 crore and13.80 tonne capacity

Bhopal 03 June 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan while addressing citizens, social organizations and public representatives in Indore today said that ‘I salute that Indori spirit due to which Indore is making new records - thank you Indore.’ Chief Minister Chouhan reached Abhay Prashal to thank the Indoreans, for their awareness about vaccination and creating record, for their generosity in setting up a Covid Care Center in Radhaswami Satsang and to bring out Indore from the clutches of Corona.
Chief Minister Chouhan not only remembered the sacrifice of the Corona warriors but also expressed his gratitude to their families. On the top ranking of Indore in smart city, cleanliness, dedication, service, social harmony, coordination, culture and values, Chief Minister Chouhan said that this has been a glorious tradition of Indore. Along with the construction of a grand memorial of Devi Ahilya, he announced to grant Rs 160 crore for the Smart City Company. Besides, Rs 25 crore was announced for the oxygen plant and Rs 10 crore for arrangements of treatment. Chief Minister Chouhan also dedicated 11 oxygen plants costing Rs.11.35 crore and with a capacity of 13.80 tonnes.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that it would be made mandatory to have oxygen plant in hospitals with prescribed number of beds. Fifty percent capital subsidy will be given to private hospitals for setting up oxygen plants.
Bhumi poojan and dedication of development works
Chief Minister Chouhan dedicated a multi-level parking for two wheelers at Sanjay Setu along with renovation and beautification work of Bolia Chhatri, Gandhi Hall. Apart from this, he performed bhoomi pujan of various development works worth Rs 97 crore.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the second wave of Corona is an unforgettable tragedy. We are able to overcome this only with the cooperation of public representatives and administration and most importantly due to the work done by the Crisis Management Committees. He said the danger still lurks. Everyone must adopt Covid appropriate behaviour.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that such planning should be made that Indore should become known not only in the state but in the country and in the whole world for employment, education and Covid control. All possible efforts must be made to stop the possible wave of Corona through sampling, tracking and testing.
People’s confidence in government health services increases
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the people’s confidence in government health services has increased during the period of Covid. To maintain this, contract for oxygen tankers should be done in advance. Cent percent vaccination must be ensured. Those coming from outside should be monitored. The Covid protocol should be followed.
Dr. Nishant Khare, a member of the State Disaster Management Committee, gave a presentation on the work done for Covid control in Indore district. A documentary on smar city project activities was also screened during the programme.
Chief Minister Chouhan inaugurated the programme by performing Kanya Pujan and lighting the lamp.
