Journalist Organisations Laud Decision to Constitute ‘Patrakaar Koushal Prakoshth’

Gave Letters of Gratitude to PR Minister Dr. Mishra
Bhopal: Several Journalist Organisations have expressed their gratitude towards the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Minister for Public Relations Dr. Narottam Mishra towards facilities announced by the state government in the interest of journalists. In letters of gratitude presented to the Public Relations Minister by the journalist organisations, the decision to constitute Patrakaar Koushal Prakoshth besides other decisions taken in journalists’ welfare have been appreciated.
The Madhya Pradesh Shramjivi Patrakaar Sangh, Bhopal met Minister for Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Narottam Mishra today and presented him a letter of gratitude for kindness of the state government towards the journalists. Office bearers of Bhopal Journalists Association also met Dr. Mishra and termed the decisions of the state government towards the welfare of journalists for establishing Koushal Vikas Prakoshtha in the last assembly session, increase in amount of shraddhanidhi, to consider photojournalists and cameramen entitle for shraddhanidhi, to provide medical treatment facility to dependent mother-father of journalists under Medical Treatment Assistance scheme, to increase assistance sum upto Rs. One lakh for treatment of serious diseases, to provide benefit of insurance scheme to non-accreditated journalists and to make a separate committee to study problems of journalists besides its redressal etc. laudable.
Moreover, the journalists have also expressed their gratitude towards the decision for renewal of accreditation card for 2 years in place of One year.
PR Minister Presented with Citation Letter
Other Journalist Organisations have also expressed gratitude towards the state government for the decisions taken in the interest of journalists. Office bearers of Malwa Shramjivi Patrakaar Sangh namely Atul Pathak, Deepak Jain, Lakhan Gahlot, Priyash Kothari and others met Dr. Mishra at his residence today and presented a citation letter.-WTN
