Yatra is a Unique Example of Public Participation

Union MoS for Health Kulaste Participates in Yatra  

Bhopal: Union minister of state for health Faggan Singh Kulaste said that Narmada Seva Yatra, taking out for river conservation is talking point across the world today. He said that the Yatra taking out for protection and conservation of lifeline of the state, Narmada river, is an unique example of public participation.

 Kulaste was addressing villagers in Bablia village of Mandala district after welcoming the Yatra today. He discussed in detail about economic, social and spiritual background of Narmada. Outlining importance of trees in water conservation in river Narmada, Kulaste appealed villagers and farmers to plant more and more saplings. He informed about grant being provided by state government for plantation on private land by farmers near Narmada shores.

 Kulaste also appealed for participation in intensive plantation drive to be held on July 2 for plantation of five crore saplings. Before this he received Dhwaj and welcomed the Yatra in Babuliymal also. MLA Ram Pyare Paraste welcomed the Yatra and addressed Jan Samvad in Devri Babliya. MP Text Book Corporation Chairman also addressed it. It was 130th day of the yatra. Yatra resumed at village Bakori after Narmada Aarti. Yatra was welcomed in village Khari, Sajpani, Dobhi, Jujhri, Saraswahi, Pipriya, Singpur, Fata Devgaon of Narayanganj block.-WTN
